I Love Coupons

Today was a great day for my coupons! I went to Safeway where they have he Nabisco crackers on sale for $2.00 a box with the club card. If you buy 5 boxes of the crackers you get a bonus of $5.00 off! I also had coupons for $1.00 off 2 bringing the cost down to .50 cents a box. I had one coupon for $1.00 one box. In the end I bought 25 boxes of Nabisco crackers in different flavors and I paid *drum roll please* $12.00! Now how is that for a bargain?
I also had coupons for the refridgerated Del Monte fruits in the glass jars. It is normally $4.79 but was on sale today for $3.99. I had a coupon for $1.00 off that I paired up with a buy one get one free coupon. The cashier even took off the full regular price of the Del Monte and not the sale price. So in the end with this deal I got 2 jars of great tasting fruit for $2.19!!!
I paid $14.19 and bought 25 boxes of Nabisco crackers and 2 jars of the refridgerated Del Monte fruit! How is that for a bargain?

Oh My Gosh!!

I had to go to town today to drop off some paperwork and to exchange gifts with a friend. I stopped off at JCPennys being as I had a coupon for $10.00 a $10.00 purchase. I bought Megan some leopard print leggings and an adorable Christmas dress. It is green crushed velvet on top with long sleaves and the bottom is an adorable plaid print. There is also the material that is like in tu tus that puffs the bottom out a bit. When I say totally adorable I mean it! I was originally $59.99 on for 50% off making it $29.99. I then had the coupon for $10.00 off and thenhad a friends bonus coupon for an extra 15% off! I will take pictures of Megan when she puts it on for Chruch tonight and at my brothers tomorrow.
I have to go make some fudge and hope to get in a quick nap being as sleep was impossible for me last night. Feet were cramping up and then my legs. It was 4AM when hubby feltbad for me andwas rubbing my legs and feet and back for me. Awwww what a sweet heart he was!

Goodwill Bargains

I am so thankful yesterday is over. It was non stop running for me it seemed. I did love Goodwill and I got a few great items at least.
The SSI appointment took over 90 minutes and Megan does not do well in small confined places for much time at all. She was squirming and getting very agitated after a short while. We have to wait and see if her payment goes up or down. I have some paperwork have to drop off this week and then we should be done with them for now.

This box of ornaments is going to be a craft project for the kids next week. I have been looking at the stores and these are so expensive to buy brand new. We are going to put paint inside of them and swirl them around to make cool colors! I will take pictures of the kids with them when we are done. Oh and I paid .99 cents for the box of these!
This was also 99 cents and is a cool looking box of older lights like icecicles. There are in pretty pastle type of colors. I am going to put them on my miniture tree or around the fire place mantle. I will post pictures of them when I decide where.

I love these table cloths now. It wasyes you guessed it 99 cents at Goodwill. I am in love with snowmen and have pretty much deleted all my Santa stuff. I love having the table covered so that when the kids make a mess it is easy to clean off and does not stain the table.
Yes I paid 99 cents once again for this new set of snowmen candles in the tins. I am going to use these as part of a Christmas gift. It is simple and very cute. I am not sure who is getting it but there will be more to go along with it. I just love new things to give at great prices.

Megan will just drink out of shot glasses for some odd reason. Part of her disability I guess. I found this shot glass from Rainforest Cafe, where I used to work at, and it was just .49 cents!  I am going to wash it up and put it in her stocking from Santa!

I think this was the best deal of my day. I love light houses and if you remember I have the set of Thomas Kincade light houses on my fireplace mantle along with a copper musical light house. I was able to get this yesterday at the same Goodwill for just .99 cents! I was so excited when I plugged it in and it worked. I would of bought it even if it did not work being as that is an easy fix.

My Life is Spinning Out of Control

I knew today was going to be a busy day for me. I was laying in bed last night with my mind going in a zillion different directions. Maybe make that a bazillion different ways.
School today was a two hour late start due to the weather. OK that part was cool I got to sleep in a bit longer qan Megan needed her beauty sleep as well. Megan had a night where she did not want to go to sleep. I think it was after midnight when she finally  settled down. SHe also had to sleep with Jason and me to keep her in bed and not up and wandering.
I got Megan to school being as she did not want to move even with the last start. I got her to school and rushed home to make phone calls. It is now almost four PM and I have more calls to make. I have been on the phone making calls and eing transfered from person to person for the last five hours now!
I have got most of my calls for today made at least so that is a blessing. Last night was another blessing with the Sunday night service at church. It was all singing and bell choir and beautiful. I will post a video of it later on. I was brought to tears with the final song and I just let the tears wash my face. I was not ashamed of them it was just so beautiful.

Sensodyne Iso Active Toothpaste review

I was asked by Shespeaks to try this tooth paste and review it. I am a suffered of super sensitive teeth and have ried all the tooth paste out there for this. Most of them did nothing to help my teeth and some had such a horrible tate I could not use them
I love this tooth paste to be honest. The first time I used it my thought was *Wow I feel like I just walked out of the dentist office for my cleaning!* I am not sure how to describe the taste. It is a bit like an Altoid flavor that burst into your mouth.
There is a lovely gentle foaming action that reaches all those hard to reach areas of your mouth and is a pleasant surprise to the normal paste I have been using. I also love the stand up container and pump action.
The Snesodyne Iso Active Tooth paste  came at a perfect time. I was suffering with two teeth that were getting crowns and one of those teeth was getting a root canal. My mouth was on high alert to anything cold or hot or sweet. After using this tooth paste for two weeks I was happy with how much better my teeth were doing. I was albe to brush them after my root canal and after both crowns. WIth my root canal my mouth was super infected and my jaw was all swollen as well as my face. The Sensodyne Iso Active tooth paste was easy to use and the foaming action cleaned the back pat of my mouth where it was even more tender.
If there was one draw back it is thatthe tooth paste glumps up at the opening a bit. It is easy to flcik off and not a bother to me nor a deturant to buying and using this paste again. I love it and give it five stars!

Happy Sales

I stopped off at Victorias Secret today to pick up Megan some leggings. They were on sale 2/22 and I had a coupon for $10 off! I was able to get a black pair and a gray pair.
I also picked up a Sugar High lip gloss and a coconut body spray in a gift set for $10 but with my $10 coupon it was FREE!
Bath $ Body Works was next. I picked out two of the three wick candles in Twisted Peppermint on sale 2/20. These are normally $19.50 each. I then found Twisted Peppermint 3 in 1 shampoo, body wash and bubble bath on clearance for 50% off making then $5 each. I bought two of those to bring my purchase up to $30. I then took off a coupon I had for $10 off a purchase of $30 or more. I ended up with two of the candles and two of the 3 in 1 products for just $20!
Then I bought two more of the 3 in 1s in Peppermint Twist on clearance for $5 each normally $10 each. So with this purchase of $10 I was able to get any item up to $13.50 for free. I could not find a thing that interested me so I got another 3 in 1!
I ended up spending $30 and got two candles and five 3 in 1s. It would of been $89.00 but I paid as I said in the end not counting tax $30!

Black Friday!

OK after thinking I was going to sleep in I braved the crowds! I left my hose at 3:30 and was in the mall parking lot at 3:45. Wait what is this there is no line outside JCPenny's? Did I get y opening times wrong? Am I not going to get my snow globe? NooooooOOOOOooo!!! I asked and they said they opened up at 3:30 being as there was such a crwod outside. Oh my how people did complain when they heard that. Why complain I mean you got the snow globe, the lines were short, nothing was out of stock that I could tell, they had lots of help out on the floor....  I walked right into to JCPenny's and got my snow globe and did some shopping. I bought Megan two pairs of leggings and two adorable sweaters there. I also got two snowglobes by being a bit sneaky.
I then decided to brave Target. There was a puffer vest I wanted for Megan and some DVD's on sale. I was able to get a load of DVD's that I wanted and Megan a vest and me a matching vest!
I also found a cell phone charger to use in the house that is a 9 volt car converted charger. Basically it is an adapter that you plug into the house socket and then use your car charger to charge the cell. We are down to one house charger here now thanks to Robert breaking two of our's for whatever reason. Jason has the third charger with him in WV.
I was in line for oh my who knows how long there. It was a total mad house and they had the worst assistance on the floor. No one knew where the line ended at nor was willing to help find it. I literally asked like 5 employees and they all said they didn't know that they were working on it. OK then move and find out where! I did have fun talking to the ladies in line there. I was giggling at some that were freaking out and getting mad at the lines and shoppers. OK I get the giggles it is not a good thing. :)
I saw that there was a Staples in the same parking lot and headed over there. I stood in line for an hour just to buy a new Norton 360 for the computers at home. After my rebate it will cost me $9.99. I admit I had a blast in line there. It is easy to stand in line when everyone is joking and friendly. I talked to a lady about Megan and her special needs, she also talked about her son with special needs and her BIL. The couple behind us just bought a new house and were getting stuff for the house today.
I then was on my way to Starbucks for my caffine fix and as I was paying Robert called to see where I was. I said on my way home and he said cool that he and Megan had just got up. Shoot and I was wanting to sneakl in a long nap! I got hone and watched Santa Paws *it is adorable*! I kept falling asleep on the last 10 mintes so when it was over and a new movie was started I told Robert he needed to watch Megan while the DVD was on and I had to take a short nap. His gf and her sister were over so it was nice to have three sets of eyes on Megan. Oh blessed naps how I do adore them!

Bargains from Safeway

I bought three of these on clearance for $3.50 each. The regular retail price for thee at my local Safeway is $12.99. I will bake one tonight or dinner and see how good it is.

I bought 12 of these on clearance for $1.00 each. They are a nice option for a healthier lunch when you want to avoid fast food. I looked but could not find any coupons on this product.
I bought six of these on clearance for $1.00 each. I did not have any of coupons to use on them but it was a great price!
I did not get ths today at Safeway. I did buy it yesterday at Goodwill off Meredian in Puyallup. It was $3.99  and still had the tag from Ross on it. The Ross price was $9.99 and the *retail* price that Ross said was the other stores price was $20.00. I usually will not pay that much for a stocking from Goodwill but it is a FLAMINGO! I mean how perfect is that for me? Now I just have to find me a leopard stocking!

Life Always is Interesting and Changing

I really am not sure how to word this. The two brothers I have been watching have been put into protective custody as of Friday. Two cops and a CPS worker came to my house and took Mathias away. The Mom is still trying to get answers and find out what happened. SHe is not being told much and has been getting the run around from CPS and the Orting Cops. I have stated in other blogs how the older brother tells stories that grow and grow I believe so you will know what I mean. I wont go into specifics but worse case senerio if the Mom had grabbed the boy and brusied his arm and had kicked him out of the house for a while they need to find out why she did. I even know for a fact that he was not outside all night being as his brother told em the whole story before all this went down. I asked oh did he stay outside all night and Mathias said no he came back a little bit later I think he went to a neighbors house. Zekiah had pushed Mathias's head into a bookcase and would not settle down is when the Mom finally said to go outside until you can behave. The older boy also recorded the mom yelling at him when she was fed up and that is what they are basing teir information on. No one has come to talk to me yet about what I know even. They hve notg even contacted the other CPS worker that out the other day and TOLD me that Zekiah does embelish his stories from moment to moment that is did grow in details even when he told him the same story it changed a lt to get more *interesting*.
Jason will be leaving to go to WV in 10 days. He will be gone for two weeks so it will be rough on me here. He keeps saying he isn't going being as the boy and I do noget along so I have done everything myself this last week, I did asked the boy today to go check te mail and if he di not want to that was OK I would do it. He went and checked it before I realized it did not run today lol. I want Jason to go hunting and bag me some Bambi meat! I even told the shrink and Jason that I will not say a bad thing against Robert being as Jason needs to go.
OK how do I get over my missing Mathias? I know I was just his *baby sitter* but he was with me five days a week from 10 to 12 hours a day. He is a part of me and I have cried so much over not having him with me. There is no way I could be a foster parent being as I do get attached to kids to easily. So is that good or bad? I am afraid to watch more kids and get attached to them now. I am not like a crazy attached person but they become part of my life and family as much as they were here. Zekiha I am angry with for his lies but I miss him as well and our goofing off time together.
Oh te othr fun thing is we are being audited. I have a ton of paperwork to work on but Jason will have the appointment next Thursday. It is supposed to run about 4 to 5 hours. I have to do the last three years of paperwork for Medical, and for business vehicle useage. Keep us in your prayers that it turns out alright being as a friend did the paperwork for us and I did not understand how it turned out even back then,
Last thing is I have my dental appointment tomorrow at 11:30. I still have some if the infection going so I hope tomorrow he will clear the rest of it up. I hope he is able to finish up the root canal and get the crown mold done and the cap on.

Yea yea yippie

OK first of all I hate driving freeways and having to deal with idiotic rude drivers. TYVM for letting me get that off my chest.
I got to my appointment early and was seen early! Amazing!!!!!! The dentist dude was not able to do all he wanted to do being as the infection ws so bad still. *DUH I said it was bad*.
He drilled into te tooth and cleared out some of the infection, shot it full of germie killers and then did a partial root canal. He also sliced parts of my gum to allow the nasty germie to leave. Now let me tell you that stuff smells like cow poop. It was so nasty. THik of how much cow poop is running through my body now. GAG The hygentist even made a *hypothetical* comment. He asked the dentist dude *if a patient swallows a lot of that white stuff from an infection can it make them sick?* GAGGING* Yea that about made me hurl along with the smell of cow poop. Sounds like a lot of pus was oozing out of my gums and such huh?

OK noting much more to say just have a great day/ night all and hoping I am better tomorrow!

Spoke to soon

OK dentist called me today and wants to see me tomorrow at 11. He said there is no reason I should be having pain and any infection left. I said I am glad you called because the infectin is getting worse again. My lips and half my face is swelling again and is all tingly and it is bruising now. So I go tomorrow at 11. He will drill a hole in my tooth to relieve the pent up pressure and clear out the infection best he can. If possible he will do the root canal and crown prep as well. So I am off to bed and I promiss to try and catch up on blogs soon. HUGS!

Mouth is so much better!

I can open my mouth wider finally! Most of the swelling is gone and no more fever as well. I am still having pain but it is controlled with 3 Aleve.
I got paid today and was given and extra $50 for the 2 overnight stays. I get paid $20 a day for the other boy I watch so it has been nice to have money here. I love having the two boys that are five here being as they love me! They are not mean and hateful to me they give me lovings and hugs and these amazingly beautiful smiles that melt my heart. They do not judge me and call me lazy and fat. They slip up and call me mama half the time. I guess that shows I am doing right by them!!!
I had not asked for the extra money for the over night stays so it was a nice bonus. I also do not expect my friend to pay me for watching her son just enough to fill my tank for picking him up. Believe me when I was hurting and he gave me a hugeeeee hug it made me burst with love for the little booger. Yea it made me get teary but that was because he hit my jaw when it was at its most infected. Oh yea baby that hurt bad. Was so worth the hugs though and the sweet kisses on my cheek to feel better.
Some more good news is SSI is going to be paying more for Megans SSI next month. Right now they are taking out 50% but next month they will just take out 10% to get their back pay. That means we will get around $550 a month in SSI for now on. We have to find out why they are not paying more being as she is now an adult.
I have to get my paperwork notorized and then I can be paid for Megans care as well. I will claim weekend hours being as I am her sole provider on weekends. Oh yea as if Jason would change a diaper or do a med doseage!
I know people say money can not buy happiness but money sure makes life easier and less stressful! I mean today I cashed a check for $800 and had it all in $100 bills. It is MY money. Money that I earned on my own.  Money I do work hard for. It makes me feel proud to be able to earn money and earn it doing something that I love and adore doing.
I wanted to be a mama for as long as I can remember. I wanted to take childhood education when  went to college. My mom said no cause ya will have your own babies and will hate it. Later on in life she realized she was wrong that I was wired to be a caregiver, wired to care for kids. I love watching kids. It is my lifes goal to watch kids and what truly makes me happy.
Now is that sad or what? I mean I went to college for journalism and hated it. I suffered through a year of college just to pacify my parents. In the end I take care of my special needs step daughter and now I am blessed with babysitting. Does anyone else love to watch kids or am I just crazy?

Infection keeps spreading

I need prayers for my darn tooth. The infection is still spreading and I have kept running a low grade fever non stop now. I can hardly open my mouth due to the swelling and now the redness and swelling is covering about 3/4 of my throat. I have lived on Vicodin since Thursday. I need to go to town and get some yogurt but not really wanting to go out looking like I do. The dentist said not to worry unless it affects my breathing and then go to ER. OK unless it gets better there is no way he can do a root canal when I can open my mouth jst part way!

More Dental Fun

OK the last couple of days I have been onedge really bad. Then on Wednesday I had a bad jaw ache and knew the infection sighs. By that night I was in horrible pain and not able to sleep. I got in on an emergency dental appointment yesterday at 4.
They did X rays and said yep its infected. We can pull the tooth or we can do a root canal and a crown. Now I was ready for the crown already but not the root canal! U do not want to be missing another tooth so I am now geting my first root canal. I go next Wednesday at 10AM. The dentish has been doing them for 30 years and will be able to it all in one sitting. He will do the root canal and get the cap on in one sitting. I will have to wait 2 weeks for the crown is all. They said sometimes a dentist will take three appintments to get the root canal done and Jason said the same thing. I will like just having one appointment.
Until the infection is better I will not be posting mych being as spelling is hard right now. I am on antibiotics and Vicodin. I wish there was something stronger for me.

There are days.......

There are days when I know I would of been better off staying in bed. Today has been one of them. It i like I can feel a headache coming on and it is getting more and more close to becoming a stress cluster or a migrain. I have been knashing my teeth way to much today.
Breath in, breath out. Nice deep breaths Daphne. OK took a few breaths and can think now at least.
Same stuff with Robert as usual. Why he feels it is fine to lie I do not understand at all. Why he feels he can disobey and not have a consequience I do not understand. Oh wait yes I do but I am not going to say. At least the other person is finally backing me up now. I just wrote the behaviors down on the dry erase board and will let Dad handle it.
The one older boy that I watch has been telling a few more fibs as well. He is so much like Robert that at times I wonder what have I done. OK I adore the little brother so it makes it easier to handle the older one. I also know that this week is extra hard being as they are out early.
OK not alot to say just needed to say bleh to today.

This will be a long week!

OK this is going to be a long week I can tell. Three more days to go is all right? This week happens to be early release for the schools here. That means I have Zachiah from noon until his mom gets them as well as in the morning. It was a non stop fight fest with big brother picking on little brother. I prefer just when it is me and Mathies.

Hoping to score some good freebies this week I believe I am due! I did get free Olay Pro X for my face and a Loreal tube for my eye area. Now if I can find something to take care of the dark circles under my eyes I will be happy!

Halloween Fun

OK now you can see how I have been spending my weeks! It is amazing how long kids will play with stickersm Q-tips, glue and construction paper! Mathias was concentrating so hard on painting his pumpkin I had to snap his picture.  Oh I have found out also that I HAVE to vacuum a lot more now! I am shocked at how messy one five year old boy let alone two five year old boys can be!

I Have a Lovely $1250.00 Crown!

OK it is not really that lovely and it is not something I would wish on anyone. I have a new crown in my mouth. I had to take Aleve *OK the generic version* when I got home. I have to be careful flossing for the next couple of days and can not chew gum for a couple of days as well. I do admit that it feels so much better then the tooth with the chip in it and the cavity at the gumline. Yes I know weird place for a cavity.
I hope now that my tongue can heal up being as there is no rough edge for it to play with now. I am still missing one back molar on the bottom right side. That will be next year that I take care of tht tooth being as that involves two crowns on the side teeth and then a screw into the jaw and another crown in the missing tooth spot. I go back in December for another crown on the lower left side. For now I am happy my teeth are cleaned and taken care of. No cavitites and I do have insurance so at least I can go to the dentist when I need to.
I had a few fillings done over the last 18 months, have kept up with getting my teeth cleaned and examed every six months, have gotten a front tooth fixed the right way that was chipped back in 2000, have got a temporary cap on the lower tooth that needs the crown in December. People take care of your teeth! It is a lot cheaper to pay for a tooth exam and cleaning then to have to start paying for crowns!
OK I love Aleve *naproxen* for tooth pain. It is the only thing that cuts the pain for me with my teeth. It also cuts the pain fast within 30 minutes. I had taken some Tylenol Migrain when I got out of the dental office and it wsa not touching the pain. I took my generic Aleve and within 15 minutes my gun and tooth were feeling better.

Mondays Coupon deals

I admit it I am still amazed at how many people do not use coupons!
The Kashi cereal is around $4.99 a box here.
I used two coupons for $3.00 on the two boxes of the Go Crunch Blueberry that were on sale for $3.00 each. I got both of those for FREE!
I had a coupon for a free box up to $5.00 off and got the Kashi Honey Puffs for FREE!
The Crab Classics is normally $3.99 a package here but was on sale for 10/$10.00 or $1.00 each. You usually do not have to buy the total amount unless is it specifically stated. I bought 9 packages of it and I had 9 coupons for .55 cents off. In the end I paid .45 cents a package!
I bought a bottle of Dawn dish soap on sale for .99 cents and I had a coupon for .25 cent. My cost was .74 cents.
I bought a container of EOS lip balm that retails for $3.99 on sale for $1.99 and it has a rebate for $1.99 bringing my cost down to FREE! This is at Rite Aid and you can now do their rebates over the internet.
I bought a Halloween Mr. Potato Head at Target for $6.99 and had a coupon for $2.00 off bringing it down to $4.99.
I also had a coupon for a free Grande blended drink at Targets Starbucks when  bought one. I ended up getting 2 drinks for $2.99.
I love my coupons!

Sunday Evening

Well this was going to be a nice quiet weekend with the guys off hunting nd camping. I was going to go shopping with Megan and buy her sme new shoes and leggings. We ended up staying home due to the rain and cold.
I did some house cleaning but Megan was super clingy to me. We ended up sitting in my chair together most of the day. She had one grand mal seizure and then laid down in her room for a while. I guess she got revfived being as she was up until after midnight last night then. I finally put her in bed and shut off the light and put up the safety gate.
Today we both slept in way to late. I got up and did our morning routine and then we went to Safeway to buy a Sunday paper. Megan was super happy and playful and it was fun to see. e were headed up to pay for the newpaper when she had a grand mal in the store. I had to lay her down and wait for te seizure to pass.
It was hard to watch her in the store with people able to see what happens. Today we were blessed with very nice and concerned people asking if they could call someone or if we needed help. I thanked everyone and explained the situation and that we would be fine. One lady went and got me some napkins for Megans drool. A few stayed to make sure we were OK and that I was able to get Megan up and stuff. Thank you Lord for sendig the sweet people today.
We got home and Megan went to bed for about an hour. It gave me time to straighten up a few more things before she got up again. I was cutting out my coupons and Megan wantd to sit on my lap and cuddle again. I had her sit on the other couch being as I was almost done. After about five minutes she had her second grand mal of the day. She is wore out now and laying down on the couch with a blanket covering her up.
I am trying to keep cleaning and be quiet at the same time. Not easy to do when you need to vacuum! I am glad I got as much done as I have and will finish up tomorrow when Megan is in school. I have a box of stuff to put on freecycle again. I am giving it until Friday to get picked up and then off to Goodwill it goes.

Thursday

I am having so much fun watching the boys now. It does wear me out but it is good to feel wanted. Five year old boys are to funny and so full of love and pee and vinegar! I get *sugars* from Mathias *when you kiss the neck* and he giggles and acts like he hates it. So his brother said to say they were boogers so I said OK I don't like boogers so I wont get sugar boogers any more. I was worried he might of not liked it. So then he says oh thats ok they are sugars now!!!!
We play the game *I know you are but what am I? *A chicken.* *I know you are but what........ That game can go on for an hour! I am sure the Target customes hate me now.
Today we made pictures on my card stock. I have those foam stickers and foam houses. Mathias and I spent two hours making our masterpieces.
Tomorrow I have Andrew and Mathias for the day. Megan is staying home being as it is a short day and it is so hard to get her going in the morning. Well I am having Jason pick up those dry Chinese noodles for us. I am going to melt almond bark and then drop in the noodles. The boys get to take turns stiring the mess and then dropping it onto wax paper!
I am so thankful to God for having so much of my craft items not sell. It is what I am using now and having fun with it. I will try to take a picture of my little set up here that I have going. Tupperware is the best thing to organize supplies!
I am slowly buying a toy here and there for the kids to play with. I found an elefun game that shoots butterflies into the air and the kids catch them in little nets. Mathias loves it and I am sure Andrew will tomorrow as well. It looks brand new as if it was never played with! Robert had that game years ago and we gave it to Goodwill. Ironic that years later I have to buy one again! I am hoping to buy a Mr. Potato Head this weekend. Actually I want to buy two of them so Mathias and either me or Andrew can play as well.
I took the kids to Dollar Tree today and let both of them pick out a prize. I am thinking that maybe babysitters are not supposed to spend money on the kids they watch! It isn't a lot and they are always grateful and have wonderful manners when they get a treat or anything.
I am done shopping for Megans Birthday party for school. I bought a 20 pack of small play dough at Big Lotsand with the candy I have it will be a nice and fun 18th birthday for her and her classmates. Mathias is going to go with us as well and it is also his birthday! I want to pick up some cookies for the kids and bring some frosting as well for them to decorate with.
I did find out today that starting next month SSI will be paying Megan money again. They will keep half of what she is eligible for but we still end of with around $350 a month in the end. I also have paperwork that I am filling out tht will allow me to get paid for caring for Megan as well. Thank you Lord Jesus for supplying the much need finances to keep going and losing some stress!
Keep Jason ande Robert in your thoughts and prayers as they are going hunting and camping this weekend. I will be alone with Megan all weekend! I am having pizza tomorrow! OK I guess Saturday being as I have my ladies night out tomorrow. I have to bring Megan with me but that will be OK and give me a reason to leave early!

What a Day

Today I had both of the younger boys. One is five and the other will be five in two weeks. My house had way to much testrosterian *sp* here today!
The boys played Army men, good guys and bad guys, Transformers, chase, chase, and chase, fought over the cat and then the dog. I finally had to say the cat is mine and the dog is mine!!!!! Oh yea and the decided that they were eating *beaver tail!!!!* OK I had to laugh when I over heard that I mean the tail???
OK we did some art today such as they painted pumpkins. Mathias painted his red and yellow and Andrew painted his blue. I have misplaced my Halloween colored paints.
Mathias and I made no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. His job was to drop the batter into the little mounds onto the wax paper.
Mathias also made a necklace for his Mom and Andrew made a Halloween house. I will try and get pictures of what the boys are doing tomorrow.
OK for tomorrow they will be painting more of their pumpkins with the new paints I bought tonight. They will also each be painting a wood pumpkin. Tony did one back in October of 1991. Mathias got a kick out of it and thought it was great! He met Tony the other day and fell in love with him. It was to cute how he took to Tony.
The boys are also going to be able to make a skeleton out of Q tips *thank you Rena* and black construction paper and glue. I will post the pictures after they are done.
We are going to make paper chains out of black and orange construction paper.
I am glad that all my old art stuff is being used now. I tried to sell it last summer and no one would buy it. Thank you Lord for knowing what was best for me in the end!
I went to Michaels tonight and bought 11 colors of paint for the kids to use. I got red, orange, blue, green, lime, black, pink, purple, yellow, white and glo in the dark.
I also bought some Kid Connections glitter glue tubes in a variety of colors. There are six tubes in each package. One package is with the primary colors and the other package has colors called brites.
I found more interesting items even. One was Liquid Water Color also made by Kid Connections. You add it to water to make paint, or add it to cornstarch and water to make a sidewalk paint, and you can add it to baby bath liquid soap with some cornstarch  to make a finger paint or to make a paint for the bathtub! The first package holds cool colors which includes green, violet and blue. The second package holds hot colors which is red, yellow and orange.
Another cool item I bought is stickers and glitter stickers.
One is called Batty Night and has glitter stickers of orange, yellow, green and purple miniture stars, yellow and orange crecent moons, purple and black bats and  orange and yellow full moons.
The other is called Bugs & Bats. It has orange and green spiders half with glitter, orange and yellow bugs half with glitter, and black and purple bats half with glitter.  Oh all of this was on clearance even!
I bought Megan a puzzle set in a wood storeage box made by Melissa and Doug. It holds four different puzzles. I got that for her for her Birthday on the 26th of this month. It was $24.99 but I had a coupon for 50% off.
I did buy one wood box to use as a future craft product but there was just one! I wanted to buy about ten of these for the boys to make Christmas gifts with. No one in the store knew where they were at or that they were on sale. I just happened to find one that I thought was the right size and it was. Now I need to find more for the kids.

Monday

OK I so need to get back to my regular blogging! It is hard to catch up with so much going on that I forget things.
Friday I took both the boys I watch along with a friend and her two kids to NW Trek. It is a cool place about 20 minutes from my house. We got to see two grizzly bears, two brown bears, coyotes, wolves, bob cats, cougars, bald eagles, owls, and so many more animals! There is a tram that you get to ride that allows you to see buffalo, mountain goats, deer, and more herbavores. All of the animals are native to the NW. There web site is http://www.nwtrek.com/ I believe. There is a cafe there and a gift shop as well. I bought Christmas ornaments for me, the kids I watch and for my friend. I also bought two bars of a nice clean smelling soap and gave one to my friend.
OK I have gotten in on a new test for  Sensodyne® iso-active® Program. It is the new toothpaste for sensitive teeth and I have been wanting to try it for a few months now.
I also got my free EOS mint spear lip gloss. It is totally cool! If you can find them I would suggest buying one to try. I had the mint and now I want to try the other flavors. The shape is different and makes it easy to find in a purse.
I got me as well as Megan each a coupon for a free Chik-Fil-A Sandwich in the mail the other day.
Saturday the Fed Ex man dropped off my Yankee candle order. It was six candles that I adore. Two of the Baby Powder, two of the Vineyard and two of the Coconut Bay. I totally recomend the Vineyard as my favorite. It has a nice strong scent that will make you happy!
I have my box from House Party coming hopefully today. It has a lot of great items in it to try so I will post a picture when I get it.
At Goodwill last week I returned 3 games that Mathias decided he didn't want and was able to find him a yellow contstruction hat for .99 cents! He is just to cute in it.
I found a Yankee candle in Balsm Fir that was burnt for maybe an hour for $1.99.
I got a three year subscription to Town & Country magazine, 1 free year to Metropolitan Home magazine and a free year to Marie Claire magazine and a free year to Cosmopolitan magazine as well. When I am done reading the magazines I give them to a friend, who reads them and passes them on to a friend of hers, who reads them and then takes them on to her job at a retirement village! Talk about a gift that keeps on giving!
OK I am off to the store to get some cat food being as Fraidy has been without food for over a day now. I am so mean to her I know!

Garage Sales and Thrift Sales and Blogging and the FTC

Today I am going to Goodwill as well as to Value Village. I have money now that I can spend on the little things. This past summer was hard on me. I had to pay my 2 credit card bills with any money I was able to earn selling stuff. I was basically broke and did not even have garage sale money. I miss making good deals and blogging about them.
I heard yesterday that the FTC is going to require all bloggers who do reviews to state that they were *compensated* for the said review. We will now have to say where we got the product from, what they gave us for the review, etc. Now I think I always say that I was given such and such to try out and give my opinion. I have done many reviews for One2One for the CDs they have sent me. I make sure that I post that I got the *free* CD from One2one* for my review. I did the Wii game and told everyone what was in the pack sent to me including the $50 gift card. I also gave my honest opinion of the game. Part of my fun in these kind of reviews is getting the item for free and getting it as an early release. I like to let people KNOW that part of the deal. I think the FTC has to much time on their hands.
I am still amazed at all the stuff I have got to review for companies. I am honest and I will not say I liked an item if I didn't. I blogged that my Rock of Ages CD took a few times to listen before I really liked it. I also had to look at the background on the CD to be able to tolerate it at first. See I did not just say oh yea great sound go buy it! lol
I heard that Kamrt has an additional 50% off clearance toys. I also saw that all summer clearance clothing is $2.99. I will be headed there as soon as I am done blogging here. I am then off to Value Village and then to Goodwill. I still need to find some toys for the boys I am watching here.
I have a couple of items on Craigslist that I am interested in. One is a storeage bin that holds I think 12 plastic boxes. I need this for all the *daycare* items we have been using. The items are right now in my bedroom and in the livingroom. It is hard to tell what I have to use even.
I have a dental appointment today at 11:30 to get my back upper molar on the left hand side fixed. I will be getting the tempoary crown today. It is supposed to be a 90 minute appointment and will cost me over $600. Yea just what I want to do today! Hey it will be nice to have this tooth fixed after so many years.

Guess what UPS brought me today?

Yes I know how funny that just about an hour after I ordered this off of Amazon it was delivered to my front door! I got in on the one2onenetwork customer review! I love working along with one2one and doing my reviews. I really love getting to watch, listen and or read things that for the most part are before the general public gets to. I have been blessed with so many lovely CDs from the company and it is good music not trashy stuff I would be afraid to have my Pastor hear me playing. The book that I just read was amazing and I have a new author that I feel is amazing. Oh and the Joshua Bell CD was so awsome! I will post that review tomorrow!

My new toy

I was shopping today at Joanns picking up some crafts for Mathies when I found this. It was $19.99 and I had a coupon for 50% off! I bought some cheap baby color yarn to work with for now. Yea I was to cheap to buy the heavy duty stuff but I don't care it is practice! I will take a picture of what I have so far tomorrow afternoon. I am using the green circle being as I have a large head. Hubby said it was going to be way to big but hey I have a lot of hair to cover up!
I cashed my second paycheck today. I love making my own money and not having to beg hubby for cash that he/we don't have. I like to not feel guilty over buying a latte or buying a Knifty Knitter! I love having cash on me and in my checking account.
I need some assistance here please. Hubby is now on a low potasium diet. No red meat, no chicken, no fish. No broccoli, strawberries, dairy, tomato products, etc. What the heck do I make? I have a freezer full now of chicken, fish and venison as well as the no no vegetables. He is diabetic as well so how they say white rice? Well that is a no no for the diabetes! No ice cream and no cheese? Oh no and no olives! OK help me people! Pleaseeeeeeeee!!!!

I Love Music

I am able to relax and destress with music. I also can do the relaxing thing when I cook and bake. I love to cook and bake. I love to read as well. Right now I am reading an advanced copy of Blue Moon Rising. It has had me from the start. I am making sure to go to bed earlier so I am not so tired in the morning. I totally enjoy having the boys here. Mathias is such a joy to play with! I really love this age group. I can sing silly songs and play silly games and he loves it!

5 Year Olds

I forget how busy 5 year olds are! They are so much fun at the same time and so easy to keep entertained with silly songs and stories. I had Mathias laughing so hard in the van today it was cute.
I need to find some art projects for us to work on for October. We will be painting some wood pumpkins that I have here and of course decorating a jack o latern later on in October. I would like to get organized and have a different project for each day. I also need to find recipes to make that are kid friendly other then rice krispie squares.
I plan on buying more paints and such this weekend so we have more to do. We are even going to garage sales tomorrow in hopes of finding some cheap toys to play with here. Right now I am borrowing Mega blocks from Megans PCA.
OK I am off to hunt Craigslist and Freecycle!

Thirty years later, Lindsay is still trying to reconnect with her sister. The owner of a bookstore in the sleepy California seaside town of Blue Moon Bay, she was lucky enough to have been adopted by a loving couple. Unbeknownst to her, Kerrie Ann has suffered a very different life. Bounced from one foster home to the next, she ran away as a teenager before becoming a drug-addicted single mother. Now, newly sober, Kerrie Ann is fighting to regain custody of the little girl who was taken from her.Neither sister’s expectations are met when they’re finally reunited. But as the two sisters engage in the fiercest battles of their lives, they are at last drawn together despite their differences, restoring belief in the unshakable bond of family. (Amazon)

Life Stays Crazy Here

I was happy today thinking *cool I will sneak in a nap before Mathies gets here at 11:00. I should of known that my one free morning this week would not end up free!
Hubby calls me at 8:15 asking if I can trade him my van for his truck at work. OK I say but I can't do it later I have to be back by 11:00. Cool he needs it now to pick up a friend and my van is more comfortable then the truck.
I trade my lovely van for his crummy truck and stop at Goodwill. Nothing was there that interested me at the prices they were wanting.
The school calls me and says that they had to call 911 for Megan being as she had a seizure that lasted around a minute. OK that is normal for her why call this time? I still am not sure why. I then am driving home when the paramedics call me. DO I want Megan transported to Mary Bridge etc. No this is normal and she has a seizure disorder, etc. They have to call Mary Bridge to make sure it is OK to leave her.
I go ahead and drive down to the school to look in on Megan and she is fine. All happy and kissy kissy to see me. I go home after stopping off for about 30 minutes. I get another call about 30 minutes after getting home.
Megan had another seizure and now the school is freaking out. O M G is this normal is this going to happen all day is this what we can expect to see how many will she have is this status do we need to call 911 and send her to the hospital..........
I will not say the words I wanted to exclaim at that point. I held my tongue and explained that this is part of Megans disorder. I said yes I deal with this all the time at home on my own. That I have no idea how many seizures she might have. It is not status. No do not call 911. Etc. I am kind of irritated at how freaked out they were!
They wanted me to come and get her but today of all days I was not able to. I called Jason and asked where he was and could he go get Megan. He was close by so he did.
Megan just had another seizure so I am hoping that is the last one for the day. Yes it is normal for her to have a few in a day they are clusters and not a big deal for the most part.
I have the boys until 10 tonight and tomorrow will be a short day thankfully. I will have them starting at 11 and their Dad will get them at around 3:30. Tony will also be here tomorrow!

I am babysitting now!

I have been babysitting since Tuesday. Well I guess today is day two of my watching the boys. I will have both 5 year olds tomorrow for awhile. Yesterday was a day for Mathies to get used to me so we basically watched cartoons most of the day. Today we watched some cartoons and then we worked on his workbook and did some art projects. In a few minutes I am going to make Rice Krispie treats with him.
I also got paid for the month of September today! It seems weird to take money to watch someone that is so easy to hang out with! He is a total doll baby. Watching him also keeps me home more so I can get more stuff at home done and not be out spending money that I do not have.
Last week Jasons parents were up here so I was kept busy visiting with his Mom. Sunday was the annual Cornfest at Church. It was nice to have so many different foods to eat but lol I had a plate for Megan and me to share and a plate with hamburgers on them. Megan ate most all the plate of salads and stuff I had got for use to share and she ate her hamburger. I had a few bites of mine to be polite but it was to raw and gagged me. I did get an ear of corn and a dessert.
Monday my MIL took me to lunch to Olive Garden. They have the all you can eat salad, breadsitck and pasta on sale. I am not able to eat much in a sitting and had to make a run to the bathroom after half my salad and 1/4 my breadstick. I ended up saving most my pasta for when I got home and had gotten an extra serving of breadsticks and salad and then asked for a to go box! I got home and Megan ate my pasta all up and all the salad! MIL said I could have her pasta being as she was not going to eat it. I didn;t wait for her to change her mind. It was the new pasta in a alfredo sauce but stronger with fresh spinich added in at the last minute. Oh it was divine.
Saturday at the Church we are having a new dervice to teach the &younger* women how to be more of *homemakers*? I am not sure of the right word to use for everyone to understand. It started when one family with girls saw how the teens act when out in public and it was not pretty and not in a Christ like manner. Their girls are not allowed to go with the youth group any longer. So on Saturday I will be baking pies! Apple pies to be exact. I am excited being as I have never made a pie before. OK Mrs. Smith does not count.
I go to the Doctor on Friday morning at 8:30. I am going to ask about this hernia and see if there is anything to do about it. I am going to get my Paxil upped in doesage as well. I need to see if there is a lower doesage sleeping pill being as mine knock me out way to much. They hype me up for a few hours and then I sleep but I am a zombie all day.
I love this picture of Jason and Megan. SHe was finding it funny to make Daddy lay down with her. I mean look at that smile! Oh hey you can see my leopard print pillow from home in that picture!

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

Hi there! I had a very busy day today. I am going on 3 hours of sleep is all even. I got up at 6:30 and started to move stuff off the floors here being as we were having the carpets shampood. I did most of it on my own being as hubby had to work.
Got the carpets ready to be cleaned, got Megan ready and took her to a Doctor appointment in Tacoma. I was so tired from moving furniture that I did not have a chance to get scared driving today!
Megan and I then went and got gas being as I was down to being able to go 2 moiles! DO not attempt this at home. We ran a van load of stuff the Goodwill and then went to go see Jason at work.
OK hmmm came home and was happy to see how nice the carpets look now. Called to see if Rena wanted to come in early today being as Megan was here. Took Megan to lunch and called the boy to tell him to meet us at McDonalds. He shows up and off to the dentist for his cleaning. We wait and wait and wait. Turns out I put the appointment sticker on the wrong day. They went ahead and took him in being as we made the trip and have company tomorrow.
Dashed off to Target when he was getting checked out to buy Frontline Plus. Some how the dog has gotten a case of fleas. I had stopped off at the Vets earlier today as well to see what it cost to get the instant action pills. Heck they are 20 dollars I think for 2 pills! I would have to make an appointment as well.
OK Adams flea shampoo for dogs and cats, box of Frontline for Mali...... what??? No Frontline for Fraidy! Oh and found a cute costume for Fraidy that I will post later. Went back to Vet store and got a box of Frontline for Fraidy.
Now rush home and start to put my house back together. I need friends to come help me want to be my friend?

Math Question

There are 7 girls on a bus. Each girl has 7 backpacks. In each backpack, there are 7 big cats. For every big cat, there are 7 little cats. Question: How many legs are there in the bus? This is very simple to figure out. No trickery is involved and there is no bus driver. Who can give me the right answer?
I TRULY DID NOT KNOW THIS!!!!

LAS VEGAS CHURCHES ACCEPT GAMBLING CHIPS!!!
THIS MAY COME AS A SURPRISE TO THOSE OF YOU NOT LIVING IN LAS VEGAS, BUT THERE ARE MORE CATHOLIC CHURCHES THAN CASINOS.
NOT SURPRISINGLY, SOME WORSHIPERS AT SUNDAY SERVICES WILL GIVE CASINO CHIPS RATHER THAN CASH WHEN THE BASKET IS PASSED.
SINCE THEY GET CHIPS FROM MANY DIFFERENT CASINOS, THE CHURCHES HAVE DEVISED A METHOD TO COLLECT THE OFFERINGS.
THE CHURCHES SEND ALL THEIR COLLECTED CHIPS TO A NEARBY FRANCISCAN MONASTERY FOR SORTING AND THEN THE CHIPS ARE TAKEN TO THE CASINOS OF ORIGIN AND CASHED IN.

THIS IS DONE BY THE CHIP MONKS!!!
LOL DIDN'T SEE IT COMING DID YOU?

I got the job!

I met the mom and her 2 boys this evening. They stayed at my house talking to me for over 2 hours. The boys were cute and adorable and funny. This is going to be fun for me. I will be watching the Andrew as well. I will now be watching 2 boys Andrew who is a little bit over 5 and the new boy that is almost 5. They will be all day on the days I have them. As well as the new boys older brother that is 10 before and after school. I have Megan as usual and I also have *The Boy*. Depending on how things go I might end up with the older sister to Andrew.
The best part is my house is nice and clean now! I have 3 or 4 boxes to take down to Goodwill and some stuff I am giving to Rena for her friend. I am going to Goodwill the stuff in our garage come Monday if no one buys it.
The dresses are ones I have been trying to sell. I have them listed for 10 dollars each. They are all new with tags! I mean Goodwill and Salvation Army and the other thrift stores here are selling used dresses for $6.99! I don't know if I might aught to try Ebay at this point!

Busy as a Bee Tuesday!

I had a very busy day today. It was endless running well I mean driving from 10:30 until 4:30.
Megan had a Doctor appointment at 11:00. We did not leave there until around 12:30. Megan has lostg a lot of weight due to not eating. She was 138 pounds in Janauary and as of today she is down to 111 pounds. Megan is 5'2" so even though she is a great weight with as little as she eats it is not safe.
I am hoping the insurance will pay for her Insure. The Doctor wrote an RX for 60 cans a month. I will fight them tooth and nail if they refuse to pay it. The next step is seeing a gastrogist and seeing what else might be going on.
We were able to get her back on the Depo shot. She just had her cycle and wow talk about a meanie! I wanted to give her body a year with no Depo but after having her bleed for the last 4 weeksw off and on and seeing her get so moody we went back to it.
I was able to get an RX for a wheel chair for trasnport to and from school and to use at school. We have a stroller but it is getting a bit to used and I like to use it at home when we go shopping.
I had a new RX written for her acne medicine even. The Doctor decided to put Megan on a pre natal vitamin as well. OK yea just what I wanted another pill! The Doctor ordered additional blood test being as we were going for testing already today.
So we leave the Doctors and head to Target to pick up the prescriptions. Talk about a huge bagful of medicinne! I had over $1000.00 sitting in a bag of Megans medicinnes!.
We then headed to the Medical Supply store to order Megans wheel chair. We also put in the order for the Insure. I hope to hear back tomorrow that all systems are go!
After we were done at the Medical Supply store we went to get Megans blood draws. At least that part went fast. I also got to meet Sadie an adorable service dog. I was talking to her owner and said I wanted to get a seizure alert service dog for Megan. She told me that is what Sadie is! I am going to start looking into that more for Megan now being as the night seizures especially are getting harder to catch.
I went to the bathroom and Robert, Rena and Megan headed up to Valet to get the van for me. I get up there and we wait and wait and wait. Uhmmm we have been waiting and there were 4 people after us that got their cars already! So I finally ask what the hold up is why we are still waiting. They ask for our tag and Robert says I gave it to that guy. They said where is the other half of ticket he gave back then? Robert says he didn't give me nothing.
I am getting a bit irritated now and said you guys took my van where is it?? We told the 3 or 4 or 5 times what the van was. Then they look around and say oh hmmm did you have a lot of keys on your ring? I say no there are just 2 keys on my ring. Oh here they are!
*Head slap to the idiots* They get my van and we load up and as I am about 2 miles down the road I notice my GPS is missing. WTF. It has been unplugged and is missing. We finally found it put into the glove box. They had no right to take it off let alone unplug it and put it in the glove box. I wil be calling it in tomorrow and letting them know I am not happy.
OK now it is time for Roberts counseling appointment. It is 2:30 and we are early. We are told oh yea he will be right down. 25 minutes later there he is. I am not happy once again being as Megan and Rena have been sitting in the van all this time. Turns out I have to go to each session with Robert and they want Jason in on the mettings as well. *Mental head bash to the wall*
It is almost 4 when we leave I have not ate yet and I am starving. We stop off and pick up a pizza from Papa Murphy's and drive by the bakery that is never opened. Race home and cook the pizza and go pee. Sweet relief!
I try to call Jason to double check that he does not mind that I baby sit 2 more kids. I will be watching Andrew already 2 to 4 days a week. This other lady has an almost 5 year old and a 10 year old. The younger one will be full time and the older one will be before and after school. I figured it will be easier to have 2 5 year olds playing together then to entertain a wild 5 year old alone! I love that age by the way it is my favorite for working with. The 10 year old has sensory issues to noise and lights so it will be perfect here. Megan has the same issues and Woah Nelly do not get her going with the noise unless you want to hear her screech!
I borrowed the picture for one of the blogs I read. I just thought it was to funny not to share with everyone.
I am happy school starts tomorrow. I have a meeting at Church at 10 and then I want to race up the hill to the mall. I might have to go to the mall on Thursday actually. I want to get home and finish up cleaning the house nice and neat. I have the lady and her 2 sons coming by to meet with me at 6:30 tomorrow night.
