5 Year Olds

I forget how busy 5 year olds are! They are so much fun at the same time and so easy to keep entertained with silly songs and stories. I had Mathias laughing so hard in the van today it was cute.
I need to find some art projects for us to work on for October. We will be painting some wood pumpkins that I have here and of course decorating a jack o latern later on in October. I would like to get organized and have a different project for each day. I also need to find recipes to make that are kid friendly other then rice krispie squares.
I plan on buying more paints and such this weekend so we have more to do. We are even going to garage sales tomorrow in hopes of finding some cheap toys to play with here. Right now I am borrowing Mega blocks from Megans PCA.
OK I am off to hunt Craigslist and Freecycle!

About the book: Lindsay and Kerrie Ann are sisters who have known hardship from an early age. Without guidance from their neglectful mother, their only aid came from an unlikely source, a retired exotic dancer by the name of Miss Honi Love. When the girls’ mother was sent to prison, Miss Honi tried unsuccessfully to save them from being separated and sent into foster care.
Thirty years later, Lindsay is still trying to reconnect with her sister. The owner of a bookstore in the sleepy California seaside town of Blue Moon Bay, she was lucky enough to have been adopted by a loving couple. Unbeknownst to her, Kerrie Ann has suffered a very different life. Bounced from one foster home to the next, she ran away as a teenager before becoming a drug-addicted single mother. Now, newly sober, Kerrie Ann is fighting to regain custody of the little girl who was taken from her.Neither sister’s expectations are met when they’re finally reunited. But as the two sisters engage in the fiercest battles of their lives, they are at last drawn together despite their differences, restoring belief in the unshakable bond of family. (Amazon)

Life Stays Crazy Here

I was happy today thinking *cool I will sneak in a nap before Mathies gets here at 11:00. I should of known that my one free morning this week would not end up free!
Hubby calls me at 8:15 asking if I can trade him my van for his truck at work. OK I say but I can't do it later I have to be back by 11:00. Cool he needs it now to pick up a friend and my van is more comfortable then the truck.
I trade my lovely van for his crummy truck and stop at Goodwill. Nothing was there that interested me at the prices they were wanting.
The school calls me and says that they had to call 911 for Megan being as she had a seizure that lasted around a minute. OK that is normal for her why call this time? I still am not sure why. I then am driving home when the paramedics call me. DO I want Megan transported to Mary Bridge etc. No this is normal and she has a seizure disorder, etc. They have to call Mary Bridge to make sure it is OK to leave her.
I go ahead and drive down to the school to look in on Megan and she is fine. All happy and kissy kissy to see me. I go home after stopping off for about 30 minutes. I get another call about 30 minutes after getting home.
Megan had another seizure and now the school is freaking out. O M G is this normal is this going to happen all day is this what we can expect to see how many will she have is this status do we need to call 911 and send her to the hospital..........
I will not say the words I wanted to exclaim at that point. I held my tongue and explained that this is part of Megans disorder. I said yes I deal with this all the time at home on my own. That I have no idea how many seizures she might have. It is not status. No do not call 911. Etc. I am kind of irritated at how freaked out they were!
They wanted me to come and get her but today of all days I was not able to. I called Jason and asked where he was and could he go get Megan. He was close by so he did.
Megan just had another seizure so I am hoping that is the last one for the day. Yes it is normal for her to have a few in a day they are clusters and not a big deal for the most part.
I have the boys until 10 tonight and tomorrow will be a short day thankfully. I will have them starting at 11 and their Dad will get them at around 3:30. Tony will also be here tomorrow!

I am babysitting now!

I have been babysitting since Tuesday. Well I guess today is day two of my watching the boys. I will have both 5 year olds tomorrow for awhile. Yesterday was a day for Mathies to get used to me so we basically watched cartoons most of the day. Today we watched some cartoons and then we worked on his workbook and did some art projects. In a few minutes I am going to make Rice Krispie treats with him.
I also got paid for the month of September today! It seems weird to take money to watch someone that is so easy to hang out with! He is a total doll baby. Watching him also keeps me home more so I can get more stuff at home done and not be out spending money that I do not have.
Last week Jasons parents were up here so I was kept busy visiting with his Mom. Sunday was the annual Cornfest at Church. It was nice to have so many different foods to eat but lol I had a plate for Megan and me to share and a plate with hamburgers on them. Megan ate most all the plate of salads and stuff I had got for use to share and she ate her hamburger. I had a few bites of mine to be polite but it was to raw and gagged me. I did get an ear of corn and a dessert.
Monday my MIL took me to lunch to Olive Garden. They have the all you can eat salad, breadsitck and pasta on sale. I am not able to eat much in a sitting and had to make a run to the bathroom after half my salad and 1/4 my breadstick. I ended up saving most my pasta for when I got home and had gotten an extra serving of breadsticks and salad and then asked for a to go box! I got home and Megan ate my pasta all up and all the salad! MIL said I could have her pasta being as she was not going to eat it. I didn;t wait for her to change her mind. It was the new pasta in a alfredo sauce but stronger with fresh spinich added in at the last minute. Oh it was divine.
Saturday at the Church we are having a new dervice to teach the &younger* women how to be more of *homemakers*? I am not sure of the right word to use for everyone to understand. It started when one family with girls saw how the teens act when out in public and it was not pretty and not in a Christ like manner. Their girls are not allowed to go with the youth group any longer. So on Saturday I will be baking pies! Apple pies to be exact. I am excited being as I have never made a pie before. OK Mrs. Smith does not count.
I go to the Doctor on Friday morning at 8:30. I am going to ask about this hernia and see if there is anything to do about it. I am going to get my Paxil upped in doesage as well. I need to see if there is a lower doesage sleeping pill being as mine knock me out way to much. They hype me up for a few hours and then I sleep but I am a zombie all day.
I love this picture of Jason and Megan. SHe was finding it funny to make Daddy lay down with her. I mean look at that smile! Oh hey you can see my leopard print pillow from home in that picture!

Hi there! I had a very busy day today. I am going on 3 hours of sleep is all even. I got up at 6:30 and started to move stuff off the floors here being as we were having the carpets shampood. I did most of it on my own being as hubby had to work.
Got the carpets ready to be cleaned, got Megan ready and took her to a Doctor appointment in Tacoma. I was so tired from moving furniture that I did not have a chance to get scared driving today!
Megan and I then went and got gas being as I was down to being able to go 2 moiles! DO not attempt this at home. We ran a van load of stuff the Goodwill and then went to go see Jason at work.
OK hmmm came home and was happy to see how nice the carpets look now. Called to see if Rena wanted to come in early today being as Megan was here. Took Megan to lunch and called the boy to tell him to meet us at McDonalds. He shows up and off to the dentist for his cleaning. We wait and wait and wait. Turns out I put the appointment sticker on the wrong day. They went ahead and took him in being as we made the trip and have company tomorrow.
Dashed off to Target when he was getting checked out to buy Frontline Plus. Some how the dog has gotten a case of fleas. I had stopped off at the Vets earlier today as well to see what it cost to get the instant action pills. Heck they are 20 dollars I think for 2 pills! I would have to make an appointment as well.
OK Adams flea shampoo for dogs and cats, box of Frontline for Mali...... what??? No Frontline for Fraidy! Oh and found a cute costume for Fraidy that I will post later. Went back to Vet store and got a box of Frontline for Fraidy.
Now rush home and start to put my house back together. I need friends to come help me want to be my friend?

Math Question

There are 7 girls on a bus. Each girl has 7 backpacks. In each backpack, there are 7 big cats. For every big cat, there are 7 little cats. Question: How many legs are there in the bus? This is very simple to figure out. No trickery is involved and there is no bus driver. Who can give me the right answer?
I TRULY DID NOT KNOW THIS!!!!

LAS VEGAS CHURCHES ACCEPT GAMBLING CHIPS!!!
THIS MAY COME AS A SURPRISE TO THOSE OF YOU NOT LIVING IN LAS VEGAS, BUT THERE ARE MORE CATHOLIC CHURCHES THAN CASINOS.
NOT SURPRISINGLY, SOME WORSHIPERS AT SUNDAY SERVICES WILL GIVE CASINO CHIPS RATHER THAN CASH WHEN THE BASKET IS PASSED.
SINCE THEY GET CHIPS FROM MANY DIFFERENT CASINOS, THE CHURCHES HAVE DEVISED A METHOD TO COLLECT THE OFFERINGS.
THE CHURCHES SEND ALL THEIR COLLECTED CHIPS TO A NEARBY FRANCISCAN MONASTERY FOR SORTING AND THEN THE CHIPS ARE TAKEN TO THE CASINOS OF ORIGIN AND CASHED IN.

THIS IS DONE BY THE CHIP MONKS!!!
LOL DIDN'T SEE IT COMING DID YOU?

I got the job!

I met the mom and her 2 boys this evening. They stayed at my house talking to me for over 2 hours. The boys were cute and adorable and funny. This is going to be fun for me. I will be watching the Andrew as well. I will now be watching 2 boys Andrew who is a little bit over 5 and the new boy that is almost 5. They will be all day on the days I have them. As well as the new boys older brother that is 10 before and after school. I have Megan as usual and I also have *The Boy*. Depending on how things go I might end up with the older sister to Andrew.
The best part is my house is nice and clean now! I have 3 or 4 boxes to take down to Goodwill and some stuff I am giving to Rena for her friend. I am going to Goodwill the stuff in our garage come Monday if no one buys it.
The dresses are ones I have been trying to sell. I have them listed for 10 dollars each. They are all new with tags! I mean Goodwill and Salvation Army and the other thrift stores here are selling used dresses for $6.99! I don't know if I might aught to try Ebay at this point!

Busy as a Bee Tuesday!

I had a very busy day today. It was endless running well I mean driving from 10:30 until 4:30.
Megan had a Doctor appointment at 11:00. We did not leave there until around 12:30. Megan has lostg a lot of weight due to not eating. She was 138 pounds in Janauary and as of today she is down to 111 pounds. Megan is 5'2" so even though she is a great weight with as little as she eats it is not safe.
I am hoping the insurance will pay for her Insure. The Doctor wrote an RX for 60 cans a month. I will fight them tooth and nail if they refuse to pay it. The next step is seeing a gastrogist and seeing what else might be going on.
We were able to get her back on the Depo shot. She just had her cycle and wow talk about a meanie! I wanted to give her body a year with no Depo but after having her bleed for the last 4 weeksw off and on and seeing her get so moody we went back to it.
I was able to get an RX for a wheel chair for trasnport to and from school and to use at school. We have a stroller but it is getting a bit to used and I like to use it at home when we go shopping.
I had a new RX written for her acne medicine even. The Doctor decided to put Megan on a pre natal vitamin as well. OK yea just what I wanted another pill! The Doctor ordered additional blood test being as we were going for testing already today.
So we leave the Doctors and head to Target to pick up the prescriptions. Talk about a huge bagful of medicinne! I had over $1000.00 sitting in a bag of Megans medicinnes!.
We then headed to the Medical Supply store to order Megans wheel chair. We also put in the order for the Insure. I hope to hear back tomorrow that all systems are go!
After we were done at the Medical Supply store we went to get Megans blood draws. At least that part went fast. I also got to meet Sadie an adorable service dog. I was talking to her owner and said I wanted to get a seizure alert service dog for Megan. She told me that is what Sadie is! I am going to start looking into that more for Megan now being as the night seizures especially are getting harder to catch.
I went to the bathroom and Robert, Rena and Megan headed up to Valet to get the van for me. I get up there and we wait and wait and wait. Uhmmm we have been waiting and there were 4 people after us that got their cars already! So I finally ask what the hold up is why we are still waiting. They ask for our tag and Robert says I gave it to that guy. They said where is the other half of ticket he gave back then? Robert says he didn't give me nothing.
I am getting a bit irritated now and said you guys took my van where is it?? We told the 3 or 4 or 5 times what the van was. Then they look around and say oh hmmm did you have a lot of keys on your ring? I say no there are just 2 keys on my ring. Oh here they are!
*Head slap to the idiots* They get my van and we load up and as I am about 2 miles down the road I notice my GPS is missing. WTF. It has been unplugged and is missing. We finally found it put into the glove box. They had no right to take it off let alone unplug it and put it in the glove box. I wil be calling it in tomorrow and letting them know I am not happy.
OK now it is time for Roberts counseling appointment. It is 2:30 and we are early. We are told oh yea he will be right down. 25 minutes later there he is. I am not happy once again being as Megan and Rena have been sitting in the van all this time. Turns out I have to go to each session with Robert and they want Jason in on the mettings as well. *Mental head bash to the wall*
It is almost 4 when we leave I have not ate yet and I am starving. We stop off and pick up a pizza from Papa Murphy's and drive by the bakery that is never opened. Race home and cook the pizza and go pee. Sweet relief!
I try to call Jason to double check that he does not mind that I baby sit 2 more kids. I will be watching Andrew already 2 to 4 days a week. This other lady has an almost 5 year old and a 10 year old. The younger one will be full time and the older one will be before and after school. I figured it will be easier to have 2 5 year olds playing together then to entertain a wild 5 year old alone! I love that age by the way it is my favorite for working with. The 10 year old has sensory issues to noise and lights so it will be perfect here. Megan has the same issues and Woah Nelly do not get her going with the noise unless you want to hear her screech!
I borrowed the picture for one of the blogs I read. I just thought it was to funny not to share with everyone.
I am happy school starts tomorrow. I have a meeting at Church at 10 and then I want to race up the hill to the mall. I might have to go to the mall on Thursday actually. I want to get home and finish up cleaning the house nice and neat. I have the lady and her 2 sons coming by to meet with me at 6:30 tomorrow night.
